About
About the Review
Independent commentary on Scottish public life, published since 2008.
The Scottish Review publishes reporting and argument about how Scotland is governed and how it lives — Holyrood and Westminster, the economy, public services, and the culture the country makes and argues over.
How we work
The Review is written by a small staff of correspondents, each with a defined beat. Every article carries a named byline and a date, and every correction is noted on the piece. Our writers are listed on our writers page.
Commercial disclosure
The Review carries advertising and, in its gambling and regulation section, affiliate links. Those pages say so above the fold. Commercial arrangements never determine what we report or what conclusion a piece reaches.
The archive
Earlier work from the magazine is collected at the archive.
